The Morning Swim Show, Sept. 16, 2010: Six-Man Relay Team Discusses 202-Mile Swim Along California Coastline
PHOENIX, Arizona, September 16. BEFORE they plunged into the frigid waters off the southern California coast, the members of the Ventura Deep Six team called the The Morning Swim Show to talk about their 202-mile relay swim.
All six members talked about the swim, which starts at 6 a.m. today and is anticipated to last until Sunday evening. The swim would break a world record for the longest relay swim, and the six talk about the idea behind breaking the record, the challenges they will face and how they will recover from the cold water in between swims.
