PHOENIX, Arizona, October 30. A conversation with a top high school swimmer and a look at the November issue of Swimming World Magazine are the highlights of today's edition of The Morning Swim Show.
In today's High School Thursdays segment, host Peter Busch talks to Sahuaro High School senior Anthony Chiaro about this weekend's Arizona 4A state swimming and diving championships. Though Chiaro is the reigning state champion in the 500 freestyle, he said he is swimming the 100 and 200 freestyles because his speed has improved greatly, and he has a couple of goal times to reach in order to attend one of his college choices.
The November issue of Swimming World Magazine features a recap of several meets that took place at the end of this summer, from the US Open and junior nationals to the RCP Tiburon Mile and Masters nationals.
