Texas Men, Auburn Women Top NCAA Div. I Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Oct. 28. THE three-time men's defending champion, Texas, and the women's defending champion, Auburn, top the first College Swim Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) poll of the 2002-03 season.

In the men's poll, Texas leads Auburn and Stanford, which are tied for second, only three points behind. Cal follows in fourth, with USC fifth.

In the women's poll, the top three teams are in the same order in which they finished at last season's NCAAs: Auburn, Georgia and Stanford. Cal follows in fourth, with Florida fifth.
