Terrapins Set National Masters Relay record

BETHESDA, Maryland, April 25. THE Terrapin Masters set a U.S. National Masters record in the 4×100 meters (short course) medley relay at the Albatross Open Masters meet in Bethesda on April 9.

Competing in the men's 100-119 age group, the Terrapins clocked 4:00.47, easing past the former mark of 4:01.21 held by the New England Masters.

The record-breaking squad consisted of James Crowder (backstroke, 1:03.89), Pete Fehring (breaststroke, 1:08.11), Matt Haupt (butterfly, 54.73) and Jake Keefe (freestyle, 53.74).
