Sponsored by Dolfin Swimwear
Swimming World continues a series in which top coaches share some of the secrets of their success. The December issue of Swimming World Magazine highlights the many accomplishments of Coach Bill Sweetenham.
Sweetenham has had a global influence on competitive swimming. He considers his greatest achievement taking more than 30 club coaches from five countries and helping them to be- come international podium coaches. Fittingly, in September, he was inducted into the International Swimming Coaches Hall of Fame.
He has placed 63 swimmers on national teams, coached 27 medalists at the Olympic and World Championship level and worked with 20 world record holders, most notably Stephen Holland, Michelle Ford and Tracey Wickham from his very early years of coaching.
