Swimming World Five Star Chase Kalisz Makes College Choice

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 20. SWIMMING World Class of 2012 five star prospect Chase Kalisz has made his college choice.

Kalisz, whose profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings has him ranked as a five star prospect, owns a boatload of long course senior national cuts in the 100m breast 1:04.85; 200m breast 2:14.13; 200m fly 2:02.71; 200m IM 2:01.79; and 400m IM 4:18.43. He is headed to the University of Georgia.

"I really connected with the great coaching staff at the University of Georgia, and I love the team and the direction the program is going in," Kalisz told Swimming World. "It felt like the perfect fit for me. I cannot wait to officially be a Bulldog!"

The North Baltimore Aquatic Club swimmer also has lifetime bests that would clear this year's NCAA Division I B cuts in the 200y breast 1:59.86; 200y IM 1:48.94; and 400y IM 3:53.10.
