Swimmers and SPEEDO Bang a Gong. Open NASDAQ in Times Square, NYC

NEW YORK, NY. September 10. CELEBRITIES are adept at getting photo-ops simply for looking good. Olympic stars have to wait through four years of tough training and strike while the iron is hot.

One of the top photo-ops aside from “What are you going to do next? I’m going to Disneyland” spots or Wheaties boxes (both of which swimmers have managed to bag after Athens) is ringing the bell to open of a major financial market.

On Wednesday, September 8 a group of swimming stars and Speedo executives (Phelps, Beard and Coughlin along with Warnaco (Speedo's parent) executives Joe Gromek (pres & CEO) and Roger Williams (president of Warnaco Swimwear Group)) got to open the NASDAQ.

What fun!!…though we suspect Natalie, Amanda and Michael didn’t know this was why they was getting up for morning workout all those years!
