BEIJING, China, December 28. CHINESE world record holder Sun Yang has left the country to engaged in a 70-day training camp in Australia's Gold Coast according to Sinanews.
This is not the first time Sun has sought out the guidance of Dennis Cotterell, Grant Hackett's former coach. But, this is a fairly lengthy training camp considering it will occur in the lead up to the 2012 London Olympics.
His plans for this training camp include focusing on bettering his world-record performance in the men's 1500 free, while also strengthening his potential in the 200 and 400 freestyle events.
