Sun Devils Add Verbal Commitment for 2022 from Indigo Armon of Elevation Athletics

NEW COMMIT: Arizona State University has received their fourth verbal commitment for the fall of 2022 from Futures qualifier Indigo Armon of Broomfield, Colo.

She will join Mackenzie Nedom, Katherine Randall, and Zoe Summar as a member of the Sun Devils’ Class of 2026.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

A versatile swimmer, Armon does her club swimming with Elevation Athletics and most recently placed 16th in the 50 free at Four Corner Sectionals last month after taking second in the 100m fly at Colorado Seniors in 2020.

In August 2019, she finaled in the 100m free at Mount Hood Futures.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 23.44
  • 100 free – 51.22
  • 200 free – 1:55.38
  • 50 fly – 25.83
  • 100 fly – 57.37
  • 100 back – 58.07
  • 200 back – 2:05.29
  • 100 breast – 1:09.01
  • 200 IM – 2:08.66

Currently a junior at Legacy High School, Armon is a four-time Colorado 5A State Championship finalist. She placed ninth in the 50 free and 11th in the 100 free as a sophomore while taking 16th and 19th, respectively, in those events during her freshman season.

Arizona State, who redshirted this past season, finished fifth overall in the team standings at the 2020 Pac-12 Championships.
