PHOENIX, Arizona, September 15. REBECCA Soni is in Great Britain for the next few days as part of a program run by the United States Olympic Committee called “Britain Bound.”
Soni will be in Wales doing a sort of cross-training as she explores the country where she’ll go for Olympic glory next year. According to the USOC, she’ll do some kayaking, cliff jumping, hiking and playing rugby with members of the Welsh national team. She’ll also visit the site where the Americans will hold a brief training camp just before the Olympics, and I’m sure she’ll try to fit in some time to check out the Olympic pool in London before she returns to the States on Tuesday.
