With a massive snowstorm slamming into eastern United States today, it reminded Swimming World of last year’s storm that blasted the same area just a year ago.
In February of 2015, former LSU swimmer Julius Gloeckner posted a video that went viral showing him doing an IM in the snow.
With the conditions right for this type of video yet again, Swimming World challenged the swimming community to see who would be able to replicate this video.

NBAC open water swimming star, and future USC Trojan, Becca Mann was the first to step up to the challenge. Take a look at her incredible video here.
Mann’s teammate, The Dancing Queen Sierra Schmidt, showed off her moves in the snow as well!
Also, Tian Tian gave the Polar Bear Plunge a bit of a twist at the Smithsonian National Zoo.
