With prelims for day one of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games about to dive in the lineups for the women’s 4×100 freestyle relay have been announced. A total of 16 teams, spread over two heats, will vie for the eight spots in tonight’s final.

The Australians currently hold the title of World Champions after winning the event at last summer’s World Championships in Kazan, Russia and will look to maintain their spot atop the world as they swim both Cate and Bronte Campbell in prelims. Bronte is the reigning world champion in the 100 free, while older sister Cate recently broke the world record just a month ago.

Joining the Campbell sisters will be Madison Wilson and Brittany ElsmlieEmma McKeon will likely replace the slower of the two in finals tonight.

The women of the USA will swim the relay combination of Amanda Weir, Lia Neal, Allison Schmitt, and Katie Ledecky. Ledecky, who finished seventh at last month’s Olympic Trials, picks up the spot that very well could have belonged to Dana Vollmer, sixth at the U.S. Olympic Trials. Vollmer, the reigning Olympic champion in the women’s 100 fly, is likely saving her energy for the 100 fly.

Simone Manuel and Abbey Weitzeil will join the USA relay team for finals.
