LEEDERVILLE, Australia, July 13. PERCY Oliver, who represented Australia at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, passed away this week at the age of 92.
During the course of his swimming career, he won 13 Australian titles and finished eighth in the 100-meter backstroke at the 1936 Games. He also continued to contribute to swimming in Western Australia as a coach and official.
The Western Australian has an impressive obituary regarding Oliver's life both in and out of the water.
