Ohio University Adds Another In-State Talent, Upper Arlington’s Kendra Sheehan

NEW COMMIT: Columbus, Ohio’s Kendra Sheehan has verbally committed to swim for Ohio University beginning next fall. Sheehan swims for Upper Arlington Swim Club and is a senior at Upper Arlington High School.

Primarily a backstroker and freestyler, her best times include:

  • 50 Back 26.45
  • 100 Back 57.03
  • 500 Free 4:59.39
  • 200 Free 1:54.18
  • 100 Free 51.51
  • 50 Free 24.40

Sheehan said in her announcement made on Instagram,

“Excited to announce my verbal commitment to Ohio University next year! The school and swim program are all I’ve ever wanted in continuing my academic and athletic career. Thanks to everyone who has supported me thus far and helped me through this decision…. Can’t wait for the next 4 years! Go Bobcats!!!”

Butterflier Maggie Berning is also verbally committed to the Bobcats’ Class of 2023.
