STANFORD, California, November 8. THE No.2 Stanford men's swimming and diving team captured three events in a non-scoring relay competition on Wednesday against No. 4 California at the Avery Aquatic Center.
Stanford's first victory of the day came in the 300 breaststroke relay when the team of Chris Ash, Paul Kornfeld and Karl Boehringer was timed in 2:25.21. The second victory took place in the 800 free relay as the team of Phillip Morrison, Andy Grant, Shaun Phillips and Daniel Beal was timed in 6:59.29. In the 1500 free relay, Stanford captured top honors when the team of Morrison, Grant, Phillips and Beal won in a time of 6:32.83.
