NEW! Swimming World, SWIM Magazine and Swimming Technique Combined Publication

Beginning with the March 2005 issue, Swimming World magazine will be re-launched into the marketplace as a redesigned, multi-layered publication with rich content and photos appealing to a wider audience. SWIM and Swimming Technique magazines will no longer be printed and mailed as stand-alone publications. However, each magazine will still be available electronically as separate PDF downloads from SwimInfo.com. (See below for more details on electronic downloads.)

ABOUT THE ALL NEW SWIMMING WORLD COMBINED MAGAZINE

Designed and written for the competitive and fitness audience, Swimming World will be expanded to include 12 issues of SWIM Magazine content and 12 issues of Swimming Technique content. The inclusion of these two content areas will allow Swimming World to re-enter the marketplace as the first magazine of its kind devoted to the entire swimming family; learn-to-swim, YMCA, high school, NCAA, USA Swimming, Masters, international, recreational and fitness swimming. BONUS TO CURRENT SUBCRIBERS
Swimming Technique magazine subscribers who ONLY subscribe to Swimming Technique and do NOT have a current subscription to Swimming World magazine will have their remaining number of issues to be served automatically TRIPLED as of March 2005. For example, if on March 2005 a Swimming Technique subscriber has three more issues due them, they will get nine issues of the new combined Swimming World magazine containing Swimming Technique content as a bonus.

Non-USMS SWIM Magazine subscribers who subscribe to ONLY SWIM Magazine and do NOT have a current subscription to Swimming World magazine will have their remaining number of issues automatically DOUBLED as of March, 2005. For example, if on March 2005 a SWIM Magazine subscriber has five more issues due them, they will get 10 issues of the new combined Swimming World magazine containing SWIM Magazine content as a bonus.

Multi-Magazine Subscribers – Readers who have issues remaining to more than one publication (Swimming World, SWIM Magazine and Swimming Technique) as of March 2005 will get their remaining subscriptions automatically combined into one Swimming World subscription with an extended expiration date. For instance, beginning in March, if you have 3 issues remaining on your Swimming Technique magazine subscription, 4 issues remaining on your SWIM Magazine and 8 issues remaining on your Swimming World subscription, all remaining months will be combined into one 15 month subscription to the new Swimming World magazine. As a result, you will get 15 issues of SWIM content instead of the four remaining; 15 issues of Swimming Technique content instead of the 3 remaining and 15 issues of Swimming World instead of the eight remaining. Going forward you will simply renew your subscription to Swimming World magazine for one low price and get the content of all three magazines every month in the new combined Swimming World magazine.

ATTENTION USMS MEMBERS: The January/February 2005 issue of SWIM Magazine will be the last SWIM Magazine provided to USMS members as part of their membership registration.
