Day 2 of the Division II Champs has seen its schedule changed plenty today. After the morning session at the Alabama CrossPlex, which was Wednesday’s finals session thanks to weather, the divers were able to get on the board midday. That gave way to a nighttime finals session.

Thursday morning provided a few quick times, including three records. The timed finals session could do the same. Here’s some recaps:

Women’s 200 freestyle relay

Whether this was swum this morning as was on the original docket or tonight as when the results were finally posted in the maelstrom of reporting, is an open question. Beyond question was the swim put together by Indy, which dropped 1.77 seconds to win in 1:30.92. The team was 50 free runner-up Johanna Buys, Leticia Vaselli, Isabella Revsted and Krystal Caylor. It helped Indy vault from the third seed to gold.

Second was top seed Queens in 1:31.13, followed by Drury .02 back.
