NCAA Div. I Men’s Champs, Day 3 Finals: Auburn Repeats Sweep of Platform Diving

By Kevin Noth, SwimInfo Special Correspondent

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., March 26. AUBURN divers finished first and second in the finals of the platform diving competition for a second straight year. The Tigers' Matt Bricker captured the title by tallying 604.35 points, while teammate Steve Segerlin totaled 555.65 points. It is also the third consecutive time an Auburn diver has taken the platform crown.

The Tigers padded their team total in the event, leaving no doubt the Tigers will three-peat as NCAA Champs. Auburn holds an insurmountable 65-point lead heading into the meet’s final event, the 400 free relay.
