NC State Wolfpack Land 2025 Verbal From Tyler Bardak

NEW COMMIT: NC State University has secured another verbal commitment for the 2025-26 season and beyond from U.S. Open qualifier Tyler Bardak of Naperville, Illinois.

He will join Aaron Davidson in Raleigh as a member of the Wolfpack’s Class of 2029.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I am excited to announce my intention to continue my academics and athletics at NC State University! Thank you to my family, friends and coaches who have gotten me to where I am today. Go Pack!”

Bardak does his club swimming with Fox Valley Swim Team and last competed at the Toyota U.S. Open where he earned three best times and finished 21st in the 400m IM. He also finaled in the 400m IM at Junior Nationals this past summer after earning silver in the 200m IM at Des Moines Sectionals.

His best times include:

400 IM – 3:52.73
200 IM – 1:50.61
200 breast – 2:00.80
200 back – 1:47.65
200 fly – 1:49.88

Currently a junior at Waubonsie Valley High School, Bardak placed 11th in the 100 fly at the 2023 Illinois State Championships.

The Wolfpack finished fifth at the 2023 NCAA Championships, a month after winning the ACC Championship by over 600 points.
