National Swim School Association Announces Partnership with Sports Publications

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 14. THE National Swim School Association, Inc. (NSSA), a consortium of the world’s leading learn-to-swim facilities, has announced a partnership with Sports Publications, Inc. (SPI). SPI publishes Swimming World and Junior Swimmer, SWIM Magazine, Swimming Technique, Water Polo Scoreboard and www.SwimInfo.com.

NSSA, a non-profit organization based in Scottsdale, Arizona, will make editorial contributions to Swimming Technique magazine. This internationally distributed quarterly magazine will become an “Official Publication of the NSSA” and all NSSA members will receive a complimentary subscription. SPI will distribute NSSA’s newsletter through Swimming Technique and will also produce a monthly electronic version of the newsletter for distribution through SwimInfo.com.

Phil Whitten, Editor-In-Chief of SPI, expressed his excitement in saying that, “We look forward to building this relationship in ways that help grow the sport of swimming and inform our readers on basic teaching techniques that are germane to NSSA and the mission of Swimming Technique magazine."

“There are a lot of synergies between the NSSA and Sports Publications,” affirmed Scott Bartle, NSSA’s executive director. “This partnership is likely the first of many as we are continually looking to identify strategies in which we can grow both our organizations.”
