Natalie Hinds grabbed her first win of the 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series in Des Moines tonight, touching first in 25.26 to win the women’s 50 free. Hinds dropped about three-tenths from her prelims time to finish first and continue her successful comeback to competitive swimming at Georgia.
In second was 100 free champion Margo Geer, just .03 behind Hinds (25.29). That is about a half second off of Geer’s season best from the Knoxville stop of the TYR Pro Swim Series. In third was Kayla Sanchez, who was coming off of a second place finish in the 200 IM.
