25-year-old Natalie Hinds talked about her comeback to swimming on Friday night from the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville as she is swimming again for the University of Georgia pro group. Hinds left the sport after the 2016 Olympic Trials after not being happy with how the meet went, citing she was mentally done with swimming.

Hinds has been swimming for about three months and is already going best times after revitalizing her career with the University of Georgia. She talked about why she decided to come to Athens to train and how her job is going for her with Turner Sports in Atlanta.

Hinds lowered her best time in the 50 free from a 25.42 to a 25.19 tonight in Knoxville. Hinds’s previous best time was from the 2014 Speedo Sectionals when she was 20.
