MISCA Releases 2022 Michigan Dream Team For High School Season

The Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (MISCA) released its annual Michigan Dream Team for girls swimming and diving, following the state championship meets this weekend.

The MISCA Dream Team highlights the top swimmers Michigan in each event across all three divisions in the state, showing the top performers statewide in each event.

Here are the 2022 MISCA Dream Team members:

200 Freestyle: Samantha Clifford, Birmingham Seaholm, 1:48.64

200 IM: Sophia Umstead, Jenison, 2:00.33

50 Freestyle: Lucy Mehraban, Ann Arbor Pioneer, 23.07

Diving: Lily Witte, Dexter, 554.65 points (all-division state record)

100 Butterfly: Emily Roden, Northville, 54.05

100 Freestyle: Sophia Guo, Ann Arbor Pioneer, 48.89

500 Freestyle: Elizabeth Eichenbrecht, West Bloomfield, 4:52.71

100 Backstroke: Lily Cleason, Ann Arbor Skyline, 53.95

100 Breaststroke: McKenzie Sirocky, Livonia Stevenson (broke all0division record with 1:00.07 in prelims)

200 Medley Relay: Ann Arbor Pioneer, Stella Chapman, Ursula Ott, Sophia Guo, Kate Van Ryn, 1:43.19

200 Freestyle Relay: Grand Haven, Rosalee Springer, Olivia Schafer, Grace Ackerman, Claudia Busse, 1:34.57

400 Freestyle Relay: Ann Arbor Pioneer, Lucy Mehraban, Stella Chapman, Kate Van Ryn, Sophia Guo, 3:24.90
