Minot High Takes North Dakota State High School Crown

MANDAN, North Dakota, November 30. MINOT High emerged victorious with 351 points at the North Dakota High School State Girls Championships held Nov. 10-11.

Fargo North High finished second with 258.5 points, while Grand Forks Central High earned third with 230 points. Williston High placed fourth with 221 points, while West Fargo High took fifth with 212 points.

A pair of swimmers claimed two event titles. Minot High freshman Dagny Knutson won the 200 IM (2:03.24) and the 100 fly (55.60), while Grand Forks Central High junior Hannah Whitehead touched first in the 100 free (52.01) and the 200 free (1:50.86).

Mandan High senior Kati Hopfauf won the one-meter diving title with 449.65 points.
