Men’s Water Polo: #1 USC Nips #3 Cal, 10-8, in MPSF Tourney Semis

LOS ANGELES, Calif., November 28. USC, the #1-ranked men's collegiate water polo team, nipped No. 3 California, 10-8, in double-overtime in the semifinals of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament Saturday at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium.

The Trojans' Juan Delgadillo led all scorers with six goals, while Brian Kinsel was the top scorer for the Golden Bears with three. The win continued USC's 16 game win streak and raised the Trojans' record to 23-1 and 10-0 in MPSF play. Cal dropped to 20-7 overall, 6-4 in the MPSF.
