Men’s Pac-10 Diving: ASU’s Joona Puhakka Takes the 3-meter in a Breeze

FEDERAL WAY, Washington, Feb. 27. ARIZONA State University freshman Joona Puhakka won the 3-meter dive, the opening event in the men's Pac-10 Championships.

Puhakka tallied 640.00 points. USC's Ray Vincent was a distant second with 587.95.

The men's diving events are beiung run with the women's swimming and diving events this weekend in Federal WSay, Washington. The men's swimming events will be contested a week from now in lOng Beach, Calif.

Action continues tomorrow with the prelims and finals of the one-meter board.
