Masters Swimmer Zada Taft Passes Away

SAN MATEO, Calif., September 8. LONGTIME Masters swimmer Zada Taft passed away the morning of August 30, only one month after her husband, Ray, died. She was 81.

Zada was a founding member of the San Mateo Masters Marlins, and co-winner with Ray of the 1979 Ransom Arthur Award, which is United States Masters Swimming's highest award for its volunteers.

Zada is survived by her children, Roy, Ray Jr and Lynn.
