This week’s Performance Of The Week, sponsored by LumaLanes, goes to University of Kentucky sophomore Asia Seidt for her four individual wins over the weekend during Kentucky’s two day dual meet with Ohio State.

The National Team member had the most individual wins of anyone in the two day meet, winning the 100 free (49.24), 100 fly (53.15), 100 back (53.34), and 200 IM (1:58.34). Her wins in the 100 fly, 100 back, and 200 back all came on the first day of the meet. While the UK women did fall to Ohio State 204-185, Seidt’s swims were a standout among all the teams and helped keep the meet close for the Wilcats.

The sophomore, who is the defending SEC Champ in the 200 back and was named the SEC Female Swimmer of the Year her freshman year, is also coming off a breakout summer where she swam her way onto the U.S. National Team courtesy of a third place finish in the 200 back at 2017 Nationals (2:08.99).

Congratulations Asia Seidt on earning Swimming World’s Performance of the Week!

Special Thanks to LumaLanes for sponsoring Swimming World’s Performance of the Week.
