Louisville Gets Another Worrell, Kyle Verbally Commits
NEW COMMIT: The University of Louisville will once again have a Worrell on its roster beginning next fall. Kyle Worrell has given his verbal commitment to follow in his sister Kelsi‘s footsteps and swim for the Cards. His other older sister Taylor is also a Division I swimmer at the University of South Carolina.
Worrell swims with the YMCA of Burlington & Camden County and is a senior at Mount Holly, New Jersey’s Rancocas Valley Regional High School.
Worrell tends towards the sprints like his older Cardinal sister, though he’s still fairly versatile across strokes. His top times include:
- 50 Free 20.79
- 100 Free 45.31
- 100 Fly 49.52
- 50 Back 23.49
- 100 Back 50.25
A two time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, Worrell was a multiple event finalist at 2017 YMCA Short Course Nationals. He finished as high as sixth in both the 100 free and 100 fly.
He joins verbal commits Colton Paulson and Hayden Curley in the men’s Class of 2022.
