Lochte Breaks National Age Group Mark at NCAAs

By Dan Jimar

AUSTIN, March 29. IN addition to several NCAA, American and US Open records set at the men's NCAAs, there has also been at least one national age group (NAG) record set.

It was turned in by University of Florida's freshman Ryan Lochte when he finished third in the 400 IM with a time of 3:41.45. The time was almost eight-tenths of a second faster then David Wharton's record for boys 17-18 set back in 1988.
