Lady Vols Add Aquajets Swim Team’s Avery Luedke To Class of 2029

NEW COMMIT: The University of Tennessee has landed another verbal pledge for Fall 2025, this time from Junior National qualifier Avery Luedke of Victoria, Minnesota.

She will join Lilly Robertson as a member of the Lady Vols’ Class of 2029.

She told Swimming World:

“I’m beyond grateful and so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Tennessee! I’d like to thank all of my family, friends and coaches who have helped me through this process! A special thanks to the @volswimdive coaching staff and team for giving me this opportunity and being so supportive along the journey! Go Vols”
Luedke does her club swimming with Aquajets Swim Team and most recently competed at Junior Nationals where she placed 18th in the 1500m free after four top-5 finishes at Des Moines Sectionals. She placed 21st in the 200 back at Juniors West last December before going on to take seventh in the mile and 10th in the 1000 free at NCSA Championships in March.

Her best times include:

  • 100 back – 54.93
  • 200 back – 1:58.70
  • 500 free – 4:55.80
  • 1000 free – 10:00.99
  • 1650 free – 16:39.53

Currently a junior at Chanhassen High School, Luedke raced to second in the 200 free and fourth in the 500 free at the 2022 Minnesota 2A State Championships.
