Louisville’s Kelsi Worrell took a run at her NCAA and American record in the women’s 100-yard fly during prelims at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women’s Championships.
Worrell raced her way to a blistering time of 49.88 that is the second fastest time ever. Worrell set the NCAA and American record with a 49.81 last year to win the NCAA title. Worrell is the only swimmer ever to have broken 50 seconds, and she’s now done it three times.
