Junior Nationals Set to Start in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla., March 21. SOME of the nation's elite youngsters will hit the water from Tuesday through Saturday for Junior Nationals, conducted by the National Club Swimming Association.

The short-course competition brings together a number of the premier club teams in the nation and could provide a glimpse of athletes capable of earning international acclaim down the road.

Two of the leading names expected to compete in Orlando are Liz Kemp and Bradley Ally. Kemp is a rising standout in the freestyle events while Ally has made a name in the individual medley and breaststroke events. A few months back, Ally set the national high school record in the 200 I.M. (1:46.31).

Alex Righi, of the Arizona Desert Fox, is also expected to be in Orlando and should make a mark in freestyle and backstroke action.
