NEW COMMIT: The University of Louisville has earned a big verbal commitment for the 2024-25 season from Gregg Enoch of Carmel, Indiana.

He will join Luke Whitlock in Louisville as a member of the Cardinals’ Class of 2028.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I am very excited to announce that I will be continuing my swimming and academic career at The University of Louisville! I would like to thank my parents, coaches, and teammates, for supporting me along the way! L’s up! Go Cards!”

Enoch, who trains year-round with Carmel Swim Club, had a fantastic Junior East meet last month. There, he earned best times in all his events and placed fifth in both the 200 fly and 400 IM as well as sixth in the 500 free, ninth in the 200 IM and 10th in the 200 free.

He also competed at the FINA World Cup in Indianapolis in the fall and was a five-time finalist at Junior Nationals last summer.

His best times include:

  • 200 free – 1:37.34
  • 500 free – 4:22.61
  • 1650 free – 15:49.40
  • 200 IM – 1:46.25
  • 400 IM – 3:50.40
  • 200 fly – 1:46.11

Currently a junior at Carmel High School, Enoch placed second in the 500 free and fourth in the 200 free at the 2022 Indiana State Championships. As a freshman, he raced to eighth in the 500 free.

Enoch is a great addition for the Cardinals, as his best 500 free time would’ve already score in the B-final at the ACC Championships.
