JMU Cuts to Get National Television Coverage

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 4. STEPHEN A. Smith will discuss James Madison University’s decision to cut 10 sports, including men’s swimming and diving, during his program, Quite Frankly, that airs tonight on ESPN2 immediately after the Central Florida/Marshall football game.

The broadcast will begin at approximately 10:30 EST, and will feature a panel of Jami Floyd (Court TV), Kevin Powell (author, activist) and Brandon Lang (sports handicapper). The panel will also converse about the possibility of long-term success for professional women’s leagues.
