Jedrzejczak Wins Four at Polish Grand Prix

OSWIECIM, Poland, May 12. OTYLIA Jedrzejczak, world record-holder in the 200 meter butterfly, won her specialty this weekend in a solid 2:10.65 at the Polish Grand Prix in Oswiecim (Auschwitz), but she also demonstrated her versatility by winning the 100 fly plus the 200 and 400 meter freestyle evednts.

Jedrzejczak's 2:00.54 in the 200 free set a naational record.

On the men's side, 17 year-old Pawel Korzeniowski and Austria's Max Podoprigora were each triple winners.
Korzeniowski's best effort came in the 800m free, where he clocked an 8:02.81 — especially impressive when you consider he managed only a 3:59.6 in the 400 free. He also added solid wins in the 100 (55.25) and 200m fly (2:00.20).

Veteran Podoprigora, who has taken silver medals in the 200m breast at both the European and World championships, swept the three breaststroke events.
