Industry News: Woodring Joins Dolfin International

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 6. DOLFIN International Corporation recently announced the addition of former Swimming World Magazine 1999 Female National High School Swimmer of the Year Kristen Woodring.

Woodring, a 2005 graduate of Penn State University, received her bachelor's degree in business administration. While a member of the Nittany Lions, Woodring became an eight-time All-American and a four-time Big Ten Champion in the 100 breaststroke under the tutelage of head coach Bill Dorenkott.

Additionally, Woodring garnered a silver medal at the 2001 World University Games and earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year accolades that year.

Woodring began her career with Reading YMCA and later swam for Wilson High School in Reading, Pa. While at Wilson, Woodring swam from John Pontz and the Lancaster Aquatic Club. During that time period she claimed silver at the 1999 Pan American Games.

Woodring will be involved in all aspects of Dolfin’s Swim Division including sales, marketing, promotions, and product development.
