It’s a quieter time in the sport. The World Championships concluded last month and the NCAA season is just now ramping up with intrasquad competition and a handful of non-conference meets. Next month, the World Cup will come to North America, with a pair of stops in the United States and one in Canada. Those competitions will be held in the short-course meters format, and a handful of world records could come under fire.
