Sidney Trimm verbally committed to the University of Houston. Trimm lives in Broomfield, Colorado and swims for Fort Collins Area Swim Team and Monarch High School. At the 2016 Colorado 5A Girls State Championships Trimm finished seventh in the 50 freestyle (24.52).

Trimm told Swimming World,

“I’m so excited about my future at the University of Houston! I felt right at home the minute I stepped on campus. I love the energy the coaches bring and the girls are so friendly and focused. I really believe that Coach Ryan and Coach Hannah will help me meet all my athletic and academic goals! Can’t wait to start! GO COOGS!!”

Her best times are:

SCY
50 Free – 23.81
100 Free – 51.69
100 Fly – 57.21

LCM
50 Free – 27.30
100 Free – 59.19
100 Fly – 1:04.61

Mykenzie Leehy and Montana Lloyd have also committed to be members of the Houston Class of 2021. Leehy and Trimm will be training together as sprint freestylers while Lloyd is more focused on backstroke and IM.

At the American Athletic Conference Championship, Trimm would have finished just .02 away from a finals swim in the 100 freestyle last year. She’s also just shy of second swims in the 100 free and butterfly. She’ll join a sprinting group that will still include Caitlin Horner on the freestyle side and Sharo Rodriguez Rivera in the 100 butterfly.
