Hong Kong’s Wui Kiu Man Verbally Commits to Michigan for 2027

NEW COMMIT: The University of Michigan has scored a verbal commitment for the 2027-28 season and beyond by Wui Kiu Man, who goes by Eunis, out of Hong Kong. Man specializes in breaststroke.

She will join Sofia Szymanowski in Ann Arbor as a member of the Wolverines’ Class of 2031.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Michigan! I would like to thank my coaches, friends, DGS, KGV, and most importantly my family for the support throughout my journey. Moreover, I am beyond grateful for Coach Bryon, Coach Matt and Coach Jared for giving me this thrilling opportunity. GO BLUE!”

Man represents Hong Kong on the international stage. She most recently competed at the 61st MILO/MAS Malaysia Invitational in early February in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she won the 50m breast and 200m IM and took second in the 100m breast.

She won two gold medals in the 50m breast and 100m breast at the 11th Asian Aquatics Championships in Ahmedabad, India, in October 2025, also placing fifth in the 200m IM. In August 2025, Man competed at the World Aquatics Junior Championships in Otopeni, Romania. She placed 11th in the 50m breast, 13th in the 100m breast and 20th in the 200m breast.

In LCM, her best times include:

  • 50m breast – 31.54
  • 100m breast – 1:09.12
  • 200m breast – 2:32.05
  • 200m IM – 2:17.45
  • 200m free – 2:03.24
  • 100m free – 58.19
  • 100m fly – 1:02.30

In SCY, those times convert to:

  • 50 breast – 27.51
  • 100 breast – 1:00.46
  • 200 breast – 2:13.37
  • 200 IM – 1:59.80
  • 200 free – 1:48.14
  • 100 free – 50.98
  • 100 fly – 54.86

Academically, Man attends the English Schools Foundation King George V School in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong.

Michigan recently won its 18th Big Ten championship title and qualified 10 swimmers for the NCAA Championships. Man’s best times (converted to yards) would’ve scored in the B-final of the 100 breast at the 2026 Big Ten Championships.
