Heat Sheets Available for Day 6 Prelims of Olympic Swimming

Heat sheets for prelims of day six of Olympic swimming are now available here.

The morning starts with 11 heats of the men’s 50 freestyle. Florent Manaudou of France will hold the top seed. Tonight’s 100 bronze medalist Nathan Adrian will swim in lane four of heat 10, next to teammate Anthony Ervin.

The three medalists in the women’s 400 freestyle: Katie LedeckyJazz Carlin, and Leah Smith will swim alongside one another in the final heat of prelims of the women’s 800. New Zealand’s Lauren Boyle is the second seed and will swim in heat three.

Michael Phelps will look to recover from tonight’s 200 IM semifinal, swimming alongside Singapore’s Joseph Schooling in the final heat of the 100 butterfly. Chad le Clos is the second seed.

Emily Seebohom is the top qualifier entering the meet in the women’s 200 backstroke. Katinka Hosszu will shoot for her fourth gold medal of the Games. Newly minted gold medalist Maya DiRado is also a contender.
