Heat sheets for the fourth morning of competition are out and it’s another semi-light morning of swimming with just three individual events and one relay. On the docket are the men’s 100 free, women’s 200 fly, men’s 200 breast, and men’s 800 free relay.

Australia’s Cameron McEvoy enters the men’s 100 freestyle with the top seed time, .01 faster than the Olympic record of 47.05. He’s followed by American Nathan Adrian who anchored the American 400 freestyle relay to gold.

Another Australian leads the way into the women’s 200 butterfly prelims. Madeline Groves holds the top spot with a 2:05.41. Japan’s Natsumi Hoshi is on her heels with a 2:05.56 entry time. Cammile Adams of the United States will make her 2016 Olympic debut in heat three.

The American entries Josh Prenot and Kevin Cordes will swim side by side in tomorrow’s 200 breaststroke prelims. Germany’s Marco Koch is the second seed and Yasuhiro Koseki of Japan holds the third spot entering the meet.

The final event of the morning will be the men’s 800 freestyle relay. The team members will be announced in the morning, but the team from Great Britain will take lane four in the final heat, swimming next to the Australian squad. The Americans will have the Dutch team by their side in the first of two heats.

Full heat sheets are available here.
