Harvard, Indiana Score More Five Star Recruits

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 8. IN the last 24 hours, Harvard and Indiana made even more recruiting noise by both capturing a commitment from another five star in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings.

Indiana
Five star Haley Lips made the call to become a Hoosier next fall. Lips, who trains at YSSC and preps at Riverside High, is a versatile swimmer with various senior national cuts: 200m free 2:02.30; 400m free 4:18.01; 100m fly 1:00.63; 200m fly 2:12.14; 400m IM 4:50.97.

She joins fellow Five star Brooklyn Snodgrass as future Hoosiers.

Harvard
Five star Christian Carbone, who trains and preps at The Baylor School, is headed to Harvard. Carbone has a pair of senior national cuts: 200m IM 2:07.41; 400m IM 4:29.74.

Harvard also earned the commitment of three star Ryan Fortin recently. Fortin, who trains at Andover YMCA and preps at St. John’s, has a trio of junior national cuts: 100y breast 0:56.52; 200y breast 2:02.63; 200y IM 1:52.03.

Harvard definitely has been pulling in a lot of talent in this recruiting cycle.

Five star Leo Lim, Christian Yeager, Steven Kekacs and Kendall Crawford are also headed to Harvard. Additionally, three-star Marlee Ehrlich committed.
