NEW COMMIT: Highlands Ranch, Colo. native Hannah Chabin has pledged her commitment to Concordia University, Irvine and will suit up for the Eagles along with Ashlyn Reidhead next fall.

Chabin does her club swimming with Highlands Ranch Aquatics and most recently earned four best times at the Bob Thompson Open where her highest finish was an 15th-place showing in the 200 breast. She finished fifth in both the 1000 free and the mile at the New Year’s Classic in January and had a strong showing at the Colorado Open last winter. Chabin also competes for Mountain Vista High School.

She told Swimming World:

“Being able to commit to a school like Concordia fulfils a life-long dream to be able to compete for an outstanding school and swim program in college and I cannot wait to become a Concordia Eagle next year!”

Her best times include:

  • 100 breast – 1:14.84
  • 200 breast – 2:39.49
  • 200 IM – 2:23.39
  • 400 IM – 4:58.15

Chabin will add valuable depth both individually and on medley relays when she arrives on campus as a member of the Eagles’ class of 2024.
