Stanford’s Grant Shoults talked about what it was like to make his first “big boy team” in his home pool. Shoults talked about how many family members of his were in the crowd as well as how that helped him in this meet.

Shoults talked about his growing confidence this summer that helped give him the push he needed to swim well rested at this meet.

Shoults also said he could hear the roar on his last turn and how he is proud to represent Mission Viejo at this meet.

Shoults finished second in the 400 free for a new best time for the first time in a while.
