Golden Goggle Awards Auction Features Dozens of Intriguing Items
The Golden Goggle Awards are a week away in Denver and the event’s auction is in full swing, with a number of attractive lots available for bid. The auction offers experiences, such as a round of golf at Winged Foot with National Team Director Greg Meehan, to autographs from past and present United States swimming stars.
The auction opened last week and will remain open until Sept. 27, when the Golden Goggle Awards will recognize the accomplishments of American swimmers over the past year. The highlight of the evening is the announcement of the winners of the Male and Female Athlete of the Year awards.
This year marks the first time the Golden Goggle Awards will be held in Denver.
Among other items up for bid are:
- A virtual meet and greet with Olympic legend Katie Ledecky
- A swim clinic with Nic Fink and Melanie Margalis Fink
- A signed flag by the 2024 United States Olympic Team
- Various pieces of Olympic and National Team apparel
- Tickets to various college football games
- A trip for two to the Kentucky Derby
- A framed and autographed Argentina jersey by soccer great Lionel Messi
