Freestyler Oliver Rowe Sends Verbal Pledge to Princeton

NEW COMMIT: Princeton University has received a verbal commitment* for the fall of 2025 from Round Rock, Texas native Oliver Rowe, one of the top freestylers in his class.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I am excited and honored to announce my commitment to the admissions process at Princeton University. I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for helping me through this process. Go Tigers!”

Rowe trains year-round with Nitro Swimming and placed seventh in the 200m free and 14th in the 100m free this past sumer at Junior Nationals. That was after he recorded three top-5 finishes at Austin Sectionals.

His best times include:

  • 100 free – 45.19
  • 200 free – 1:37.16
  • 500 free – 4:23.10
  • 1000 free – 9:21.97
  • 1650 free – 15:45.53

He is currently a junior at Round Rock High School.

Rowe’s best times would already score in the B-final at Ivy League Championships in the 200 free and 500 free.

*IVY LEAGUE DISCLAIMER:* A “verbal commitment” does not guarantee admission. An Ivy League coach cannot guarantee admission but can only commit support in the admissions process.
