Flash! Bradley Alley Sets National High School Record in 200 IM

GAINESVILLE, Fla., November 7. BRADLEY Ally, a senior at Saint Thomas Aquinas High in Florida, broke the national high school record in the 200 individual medley yesterday with a time of 1:46.31.

Ally snagged the record en route to winning a Class AAA championship at the Florida High School Athletic Association Swimming Championships in Gainesville.

Ally's time lowered the former standard of 1:46.90, registered by Jason Lancaster in 1994 for Carmel High in Indiana. Ally also took top honors in the 100-yard breaststroke with a mark of 54.79. He clocked 54.72 in the prelims.

Ally, an Olympian for Barbados, also helped Aquinas to a win in the 200 medley relay (1:34.52).
