Five-Time Arizona DIII State Champion Mandy Zajdzinski Commits to Seton Hall

NEW COMMIT: Mesa, Arizona native Mandy Zajdzinski has pledged her commitment to Seton Hall University and will suit up for the Pirates as a member of the class of 2024.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 24.61
  • 100 free – 52.82
  • 200 free – 1:52.21
  • 500 free – 4:59.25
  • 1000 free – 10:10.57
  • 1650 free – 17:10.89

She told Swimming World:

“I am so excited to announce my commitment to Seton Hall University!! The close knit team and coaches made this such an easy decision. This is such a dream come true and so couldn’t be more excited to be a pirate! I’m HALLin for these next 4 years!!”

A talented and rangy freestyler, Zajdzinski swims year-round with Mesa Aquatic Club and earned bronze in the 500 free at the Arizona SCY Championships last short course season before going on to earn a pair of best times at Phoenix Sectionals. Also competing for Arete Preparatory Academy, she won the 200/500 free combo at the Arizona DIII State Championships as a junior and as a senior after placing third and first, respectively, in those events during her sophomore season.
