FINA World Synchronized Trophy Cup Concludes Team Action

MOSCOW, Russia, October 28. THE inaugural FINA World Trophy Cup continued Saturday with the team event Moscow, Russia. The elite international competition features the duet, team and combination events and will crown an overall winner based on the highest sum of results. The Russian Synchronized Swimming Federation serves as host to the meet which runs through Oct. 29, 2006.
The United States posted a score of 96.667 to finish the team event in fourth place. Russia finished on top with a near-perfect 99.333 while Spain held on to the second place position with a score of 97.667. Japan finished in third with a score of 97.000.
